Canucks practice recap — April 4th
Chris Tanev and Zack Kassian did not practice with the Canucks on Wednesday at Rogers Arena, but Kevin Bieksa, Aaron Rome and Keith Ballard all participated fully. Tanev was given an maintenance day, while Kassian,who left last night’s game, is considered day to day. No update was provided on Kassian’s situation. Read more »
Canucks vs Ducks Game Day report
The Vancouver Canucks look to extend their season-high six-game win streak when they play host to the Anaheim Ducks tonight. Despite being 30 points ahead of their opponents in the standings, the Canucks are just 1-2 against Anaheim this season. Jason Blake had a season-high three points & 10 shots on goal in their most-recent meeting — a 4-2 Ducks victory at Rogers Arena on January 15th. Read more »
Canucks practice recap — April 2nd
The Canucks practiced at Rogers Arena this morning ahead of their Tuesday night game against Anaheim. Kevin Bieksa & Aaron Rome skated prior to practice, but did not stay out with their teammates. Alain Vigneault says Bieksa will likely skate with the group on Tuesday morning, but is not expected to return to the line-up just yet. Roberto Luongo will get the start in goal versus the Ducks. The Vancouver Canucks shoot for their season-best sixth consecutive win tonight when they host the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena. The Canucks won their fifth straight game last night 5-2 over Dallas. They also won five in a row from November 21st to 29th. Read more »
Canucks vs Dallas Game Day report
The Vancouver Canucks shoot for their fifth consecutive victory tonight when they face the Dallas Stars for the fourth time in 16 games. If they face the Stars in the first round of the playoffs and that series goes the distance, the Canucks would see the Stars 11 times in a 27 game span. The Canucks are 1-1-1 against the Stars this season.
