A Record Night In the BCHL for Penticton Vees
Penticton Vees have set a new record for most consecutive wins.
With a 7-0 victory over the Chilliwack Chiefs Tuesday night the Vees have now won 30 straight games breaking the previous mark set by the New Westminster Royals in 1989-90.
Chiefs are one of only three teams to have beaten Penticton this season; 7-1 in September.
Vees lead the League with 273 goals scored and have allowed the fewest goals with 101.
Penticton is still eight wins away from matching the Royals undefeated streak of 38 games also set in the 1989-90 season.
