The Vancouver Giants couldn’t extend their winning streak to three, falling to the Everett Silvertips 6-5 in Everett. It was a back and forth game with lots of goals, some good hits and a couple of fights.
Kale Kessy kept up his strong play with another goal, defenseman Brett Kulak added a goal and an assist and 16 year old goalie Payton Lee had a strong game despite the scoreline.
It was a bad bounce off the referee in the third period that allowed the Silvertips’ Reid Petryk to jump on the puck and score the game winner.
The Giants are back at home tomorrow afternoon hosting the Saskatoon Blades to wrap a three game in three nights weekend. The Pre game gets going at 3:30 and puck drop is just after 4:00. You can hear all the action on Team 1040.
