Giants Lose 5-2 to Saskatoon

The Vancouver Giants dropped their second game in consecutive nights, this time to the Saskatoon Blades.

The Blades scored three goals in four minutes late in the 3rd period en route to a 5-2 win.
The game was tied at two until Nick Zajac beat Vancouver’s Tyler Fuhr with a slapshot from the top of the circle, which opened the floodgates for the Blades.

Trevor Cheek and Anthony Ast scored for the Giants. Matej Stransky had two for Saskatoon.

The Blades outshot Vancouver 15-4 in the decisive 3rd period.

Next up for Vancouver, they head to Portland for a Wednesday night tilt.
