The BC Lions will meet the media for one final time Tuesday, after seeing their season end with a 34-29 loss to Calgary in the West Final.
That loss ended the Lions’ hopes of repeating as Grey Cup champions, despite a 13-5 regular season record.
There are plenty of offseason questions for one of the CFL’s oldest teams. Tough questions will need to be asked and answered regarding the futures of the club’s veteran core, including those of Arland Bruce, Geroy Simon, Angus Reid (who says he’ll likely return), Dante Marsh, Korey Banks, and Ryan Phillips.
Wally Buono joined TEAM1040 Tuesday morning, discussing some of those issues:
Travis Lulay also joined the morning show on Tuesday, and said he won’t need offseason shoulder surgery.
Angus Reid joined BMac and Taylor on Monday for the Lions Den.

The majority of veterans said they’d like to return to the Lions next season, although the choice may not solely be up to them.
Veteran slotback Geroy Simon made no secret of his desire to return to the Lions. The 37-year-old feels he can still bring plenty of positives to the club, both on and off the field, but also said if the club isn’t interested in bringing him back, he’ll see if there are other interested teams.
