Canucks GM Mike Gillis and forward Manny Malhotra joined Scotty and Company on Wednesday morning, after the Canucks needed overtime to beat Anaheim 5-4.
The win was the Canucks seventh in a row but came with some controversy, as Roberto Luongo was pulled with the Canucks trailing 4-2 and replaced by Cory Schneider.
Schneider entered to loud cheers, which Gillis and Malhotra both commented on. Gillis spoke at length on the Canucks goaltending situation.
Canucks visit Calgary on Thursday, then close the regular season Saturday against Edmonton. The Canucks are currently first in the West, tied with the Rangers for first overall.

Please tell Mike Gillis and the coaching staff to pull Luogo before the game is out of reach and the fans will stop being so hard on him!
The issue is that the coaches give Luongo a special status that has cost the team dearly in the playoffs in the past and that it appears that this still has not changed.
Last night Luongo should have been pulled after two goals. The fans in the building were all talking about it after the second goal against. The coaches left Luongo in for 4 goals against and the fans got angry. This should not be a difficult concept to understand. It appears that everyone in the city gets this except the coaching staff.
Fans like Luongo. Fans do not like the special status Luongo is given. Unfortunately Luongo gets jeered when it really should be the coaching staff that should take the heat.
Luo let one weak goal in, the rest were on the shoulders of #5 and go figure, he didn’t ride the pine.
Kevin is bang on, blame the clowns that run the circus and not Luongo.
The coaching staff should know after two bad goals, its not like this is new to them.
I will give up my season tix (11 years now) if the canucks keep lou instead of cory, pure and simple it’s time to move on. lach in the minors is also ready, thx
Typical clueless fans… anyone with half a brain knows the difference between bad goaltending and a bad goal caused by bad team play in front of the netminder. The ONLY thing the Canucks coaching staff should be criticised for is not benching Gragnani – the real culprit in the mess that got Lou pulled.
Nice post. I was checking continuously this weblog and I’m inspired! Very useful information specially the closing phase
I deal with such info much. I used to be looking for this certain info for a very lengthy time. Thanks and best of luck.
