Canucks GM Mike Gillis joined TEAM1040 on Thursday afternoon, after learning Henrik Sedin was a gametime decision for that evening’s game in Minnesota. Henrik appeared to have suffered a major ankle injury blocking a shot Tuesday in Nashville, but a CAT scan showed there was no major damage to Hank’s ankle.
Meanwhile, the trade deadline is rapidly approaching and Gillis offered his thoughts on the process. He’s not opposed to adding a player at the cost of moving a decent piece, but it has to be the right move.
Gillis also offered his thoughts on the possibility of the Canucks playing in an outdoor game and being on HBO’s 24/7, and also chatted about the development of Jordan Schroeder.
