Canucks GM Mike Gillis joined TEAM1040 on Thursday afternoon, discussing a number of hockey-related issues.
Gillis touched on the current state of the CBA talks, including the 48-hour window GM’s had a couple weeks ago to talk to players. Gillis did not take advantage of it.
He also gave his thoughts on Cory Schneider possibly heading to Europe, and on the progression of the three injured Canucks (Edler, Kesler, Garrison).
Gillis, a former player agent, also touched on the proposed CHLPA issue.
