Canadians Win Playoff Series Opener vs Everett

C's win 1-0; game two is Tuesday night on TEAM1410

Vancouver Canadians have taken game one of the NWL West Division Final over the Everett AquaSox with a 1-0 win Monday afternoon at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Game two will be Tuesday night from Everett on TEAM1410; if needed game three will be Wednesday night.

C’s picked up their lone run in the eighth inning after Jorge Flores doubled with one out. Flores made it to third on a pass ball before Kellen Sweeney hit an RBI single with two out in the inning.

Vancouver closed out the game with three up, three down in the top on the ninth.

If the C’s win this series their next home game will be Thursday night at Nat Bailey Stadium.
