• Thinks he will have butterflies by tomorrow night.
• Thinks it will be similar to when he started in college.
• Will take every opportunity to learn everything he can.

• He talked about the plight of the Edmonton Eskimos.
• He is not exactly sure why the Eskimos are in the position that they are currently in.
• He thought they looked so promising at the start of the season.
• He said that he would absolutely be interested in listening to what the Eskimos have to say.
• Said that he has always been looking for the right opportunity.
• He would like to at least speak with the Eskimos in the hopes of offering up some helpful suggestions to try and get them going in the right direction.
• Also said that even if he didn’t turn out to be the right guy to help their organization, he would definitely like to help them find somebody.

• Said that Pete has been an incredibly positive influence thus far on the Seahawks organization.

• He felt is was very important to get him into the organization now because he believed that once he signed with somebody it would be very difficult to tear him away from that organization.
• Said he didn’t hire Guy specifically for Lecavalier.
• Thinks that Guy will be able to get the very most out of every individual on the team.
• Likes his approach.
• As a bonus, he thinks Guy’s approach will be good for Lecavalier as well.
• Said that Lecavalier had a scope yesterday and says that he will be back to training in a few weeks and will be back full force come training camp time.
• Says that it is important for Gagne to stay healthy this year.
• Talked about the various players he brought in during this off season.
• Thinks they will be able to put out three pretty good solid lines that will be able to compete with any team in the league.
• Talked about the importance that drafting will play in improving their organization.
• Talked about what impressed him about Jeff Vinick.
• Said that he was very comfortable coming on board with Jeff.
• He said that he felt that he would have good control over his hockey team in Tampa and that everyone’s expectations were realistic.
• Said he knew he had to leave Detroit in order to get complete control over a hockey team.
